On our anniversary we went to a Cubs game. When we were headed to the airport for Chicago, grandmom asked us what we were going to do, and I mentioned that we would be going to a Cubs game. She didn't seem to surprised by that, and commented that she wondered if we would be doing so. I even seem to remember my mom saying something similar.

Its become something of tradition, maybe habit that when Jenn and I travel to other cities we try to attend a baseball game for the local MLB franchise. With our visit to Wrigley Field we've now been to 9 different stadiums around the country. We've seen 8 different teams play (we toured Yankee stadium so that I could get the photos, see it before it was tore down and all, but I just couldn't root for them, and it didn't seem right rooting against the home team).

For those wondering, we've seen San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Chicago (Wrigley), New York (Yankees), Washington D.C. (old RFK), and of course our beloved Camden Yards here at home. With all that said - the picture below was taken in our seats. We sat in section 223 under the cover of the upper deck. I'll expand a little more on our game day experience tomorrow for the third installment of Wallpaper Wednesday. For now...Enjoy!
