Today is the third installment of Wallpaper Wednesday as promised, and again, I think I've got a nice image here. Much like last weeks image, this image is a stitched image that is comprised of 6 total images. To get the shot I went to the upper deck, centered behind home plate and took a series of shots. I think they all came together pretty good here.

Yesterday I talked about the idea of going to the game, today I wanted to expand on the game itself. When we got to the stadium there were people everywhere. And its not surprising that people would want to support their team, what is surprising is that so many people were that at 11:30 in the morning. The subway ride in was full of people and when we got off, there were already a ton of people there. The reason we figured out is because the bleacher seats open 2 hours before first pitch and are general admission seating, so its first come first serve to the best seats.

We walked all around the stadium to check it out, not to much to see. There were 2 statues, and tons of people, but not much else. So we headed inside and found our seats. As I mentioned before, we were under cover for the whole game. While walking around I was getting hot, that would be the last time I got hot until after the game was over. In fact, it was pretty darn cold during the game. Since we were under cover, that meant no sun. Since we were in Chicago, that meant wind, doubled by the fact that we were in the stadium. So...given all that, it was pretty cold that day at the game for us, but it was a very enjoyable game. It was neat to see an original style scoreboard in use, being changed manually each time something happened. It was certainly a cool experience. Enjoy the photo!
