Yesterday we had church outside, and the service was pirate themed. For the kids, a parrot was brought in for them to enjoy. Now that you know the back story - thats why I have a picture of a parrot, named Max. The parrot was beautiful. I didn't actually hear it do any of its mimic, but it did spread its wings out for me.

In all the reading I've done about photography, one thing I've learned when it comes to things like this, focus on the eye(s). So thats what I did. I focused in on the eye, and then the rest of the image will at least "appear" to be in focus, even though in this case I used a shallow depth of field to bring more attention to the eyes and face. Enjoy!

Also - the only post processing I did for this picture was a little bit of cropping, the super blur background was done when I took the picture!
