The Rock

Yesterday we had another marathon day, no surprises I'm sure. We started out our day with a 1:05 game at AT&T Park where the San Francisco Giants play, and lost to the Arizona Diamondbacks. It was a decent game, but a beautiful ballpark.

After the game we walked (about 3 miles it turns out) to Pier 39 which is a big touristy area down near Fisherman's Wharf. We had dinner and walked down the end of the pier. In our walking we got to see the Bay Bridge which connect San Francisco to Oakland, and we got to see Alcatraz which you can see below. This picture was taken around 7:15 PM with the heavy fog rolling in. I really like what the fog does for the picture. Today we're planning to hit up the other major sight seeing option in San Francisco. Enjoy the shot of the rock!
