Hoover Dam

This is a picture of the Hoover Dam from the Arizona side of things. The water that you see is Lake Meade, and those 4 towers are power generators i beleive. Whats interesting is that the 2 towers in the distance are in Nevada and the near two are in Arizona. Like many landmarks that split between two states, as you drive down the road over the dam, there is a clock on the face of each of the towers. One with Nevada time and another with Arizona time. Pretty neat.

This picture was taken on our way to the Grand Canyon last week, we had a little pit stop at the Dam for pictures and then off we went! Enjoy!
