Stupid Election

Let me say it. I don't like O'Mally. Now let me say this. As stupid as I think the electoral college system is for the U.S. Presidential vote, I wish we had that system here in Maryland for our elected officials. This picture is one from CNN.com, of the results by county for the governor election yesterday. In case you don't know the red is for Ehrlich and the blue is for O'Mally.

Now as you can see, Ehrlich overwhelmingly won the marjority of the couties in this state. If we had an electoral college - DONE! The state would be republican. I personally am sick of living in a state where every four years, my vote doesn't even matter.

Presidential cannidates don't campaign here. The Democrats see this state as a lock for their election. Why? Because of 3 sections of people!? What about the rest of the state, that doesn't feel that way. Bugh, Stupid Election.
