Tiger Statue

Over the weekend I was up at Towson University for a high school band competition. I got there a little early so I could go over and take a look at the new tiger statue that was recently unveiled at the University. It was purchased by the Alumni Associated, and recently features in the Alumni magazine we get in the mail.

Its pretty cool looking. It looks very similar to the bronze statues in front of Stephens Hall and Cook Library, just more ferocious. The new statue is in an interesting place to me as a graduate from '03. Its located in a place that wasn't really a "walking" area 10 years ago. They've added a new building behind it and connect the area with Burdick like never before. Its really cool to see the campus grow and expand through the years. Enjoy!
