Last Friday as part of our "home" vacation, we went to Larriland Farms, a local farm up in Howard County. The purpose was to go apple picking, basically because Jenn and I thought it would be an interesting family activity, and that the kids would enjoy it. We all had a good time, and picked plenty of apples. What I found most interesting was seeing that some of the apple "trees" weren't really trees, they were more bushes. They were being grown up along vines, similar to grapes or other fruit like that. Very interesting. Enjoy!
