Jefferson Statue

Last night I finally finished getting some more of my D.C. pictures online. I finished processing through the pictures related to the Jefferson Memorial. I found that splitting the pictures up into three groups (FDR Memorial, Jefferson Memorial and Cherry Blossoms) has helped get through them a little better.

With the lighting challenges of the Jefferson statue I spent a good bit of time tweaking the color, highlights and shadows in each image to try and get them just right. This picture is front facing, right as you come in towards the statue. It was really cool to see it finally, after all these years visiting D.C. and never making it over to the Jefferson. Enjoy!
