Last night I was toying around with the new little Sony camera and I realized that it has an amazing focal length for macro shots. Basically, I can get the camera to withing a 1/2 inch of the object to take a photograph. Focusing is a little difficult, and you need to be patient, but it works well.
I took this picture without the flash and from a distance of about a 1/2 inch from the object. I positioned the nail clippers upright so I could photograph the actual clipping end of them. I think its a neat view of something you wouldn't usually look at that way. Enjoy!
