By the way, the where for this picture - Niagara Falls. This is the water rushing towards the falls. I was able to maneuver my way out to eliminate much of the tree line and get a nice head on shot of the stream. Enjoy!

One trick I've learned about photography is how to control the visibility of motion. For example, look closely at the mini waterfall to the right center of this image. The water looks very fluid, calm and soft. This is because I took this picture with an exposure of 1/13 second at ISO 100 and an aperture of F32. I could have taken the picture with an exposure of say 1/200 sec and an aperture of F8. By changing the aperture, i.e. the depth of field, I am limiting the amount of light that the image lets in. By limiting the amount of light, I can expose longer during the day, creating the soft water you see in this picture.
