Birthday Weekend

Since last Thursday was a work day for Jenn and I, we kinda moved my birthday celebratin to this weekend. Saturday we went out a little bit of photography fun. We started out at Sandy Point State Park, but couldn't get in because they don't allow pets. So from there were headed down to Quiet Waters Park and walked one of the trails with Abbi and Max, of course taking pictures along the way.

Then we came home and wiped off the gallons of sweat and got ready to head out to Fogo de Chao, a Brazilian steakhouse at the Inner Harbor. Its an all you can eat meat place. Different cuts of steak, pork, chicken and lamb. Its amazing, and delicious.

Then to wrap up our evening out with friends we went to a temporary bar at Power Plant Live. Its called Minus 5, and is called this because it is kept at minus 5 Celsius, or 27 degrees Fahrenheit constantly. Everything is made of ice, the bar, the seats, the walls. The only thing here that wasn't made of ice was the ceiling and the floor. It was pretty awesome.

It was tons of fun hanging out with good friends and eating very delicious food. Thanks so much to Jenn for planning such a great day for me to enjoy with her, my family and my friends!

By the way, this is a picture of Jenn and I at the ice bar. She was a bit cold. One piece of advice, don't wear flip flops to an ice bar. Enjoy!
