So its been cloudy and raining here all week. Its depressing. I was talking with a co-worker yesterday about the clouds, and he commented that they didn't really bother him, it was more the rain. Its not so much the rain for me as it is the lack of sunshine. We had a similar conversation this past Monday in small group. The question was posed "Would you rather have sunshine and cold, or warm and rainy". Many people, 5 of the 7 of us, chose warm and rainy. Not me. I would prefer to put on a nice coat, and enjoy the sunshine.
This picture below was taken on Michigan Ave, in front of the Wrigley Building. I love how the rain and clouds cover up the top of the skyscrapers. Its just a really cool look. I don't particularly enjoy shooting in the rain (don't want to mess up the nice equipment), but sometimes you can get some cool and unique shots. So with all the clouds and rain, I bring you Chicago when its cloudy and rainy. Enjoy!
