I bought my DSLR about 18 months ago or so, I don't remember exactly when I got it. When I bought it I bought a package that came with the camera body, an 18-55mm lens, and a 55-200mm lens. I love the 18-55 lens. It takes absolutely fantastic images (so long as I compose them right). And I really like the 55-200 lens, its just a pain to change the lens when I'm out taking pictures. So I found myself not really using it that much. Or I would have the zoom lens on and then want the other lens. Well, I no longer have to worry about that.

Yesterday my new lens came in the mail. This new lens is a super zoom lens that combines both of my previous lens' in one. It has a focal range of 18-200 mm with built in vibration reduction to help with the super telephoto images. I'm pretty excited to get out and take some pictures with it. I definitely think it will change my options for shooting. On the down side, it is VERY heavy, but I can deal with heavy if I only have the one lens. This is a picture of the new lens (taken with the old 18-55). Enjoy!
