Today it was a rainy day here in Chicago. Lucky for us, we saved the indoor sights for last. We had them scheduled for yesterday but once we heard the weather was set to rain today, we swapped things around a little bit and hit up two museums today with a little bit of shopping at the end.

The first museum we went to was the Adler Planetarium. There we got to see two shows. One was extremely lame, just awful. These awful kids even got up and left with like 10 minutes still to go in the show. The second "show" we saw was the classic planetarium show of the night sky. It was a view of the stars narrated by a museum worker. The rest of the museum was decent, certainly not the greatest.

After the planetarium, we went to the Field Museum of Natural History, which is where I took the picture below of the T-Rex. This museum was certainly much better than the previous, I'll be sure to post more about it in the future.

We finished up our last day here by doing a bit of shopping and finishing up with a DELICIOUS dinner at Lou Malnati's deep dish pizza. Some of the best pizza that I have ever eaten. For now, enjoy the photo! We fly back tomorrow. Can't wait to see Maxy!

A Day at the Museums
