Posing

This is one of those shots that as its happening, at least in my case, where you say to yourself, holy crap - this is gonna make an awesome picture. As I was wandering around the beach area, headed back towards Jenn and Abbi, I noticed this bird hanging out on the rocks next to the water. I perched myself in a corner between some of the grass and snapped some shots.

What I love about this picture is that I was able to get things in good focus and then the bird happened to put up its one leg. So its almost like the bird is posing was for me. I also really like the picture because the water behind the bird is blurred well, which lends the viewer to think that the bird is in even better focus. Enjoy!
