Pond Flowers

I believe that I post at least one picture of the flowers around our backyard pond each year. Well today's the lucky day. I took this picture over the weekend of the flowers that are blooming currently and Jenn suggested that it would be a good one for wallpaper Wednesday.

This picture was taken looking down at the flowers from atop the deck and the pond is blurred in the background. One ncie thing about the pond flowers is that we have things that bloom throughout the summer. The torch lilies bloomed last month, these are bloomed out now, and for the next few weeks the hosta will continue to bloom out. Once they are all done, our big grass plant will grow out and bloom.
